Very Bland and Loose Consistency

2

Smart One's Macaroni & Cheese just doesn't measure up to any of my standards for macaroni and cheese. The taste is very bland. The consistency of the cheese sauce is thinner and wetter than I like. The noodles in the sauce are looser than I like. It doesn't satisfy my hunger or any craving for mac & cheese.

One of my favorites from the WW frozen foods.

As long as you don't compare this to some fantastic, fancy, baked mac-n-cheese from a great restaurant or homemade version, it's actually pretty tasty & satisfying. The pasta cooks nicely, and the dish is filling. My only disappointment is the blandness with the cheese flavoring, but my solution is to cheat (just a tiny bit) by adding a sprinkle of "sharp" cheddar to it.

I am a huge fan of Weight Watcher's Smart One's brand, so I constantly try new ones. However, I found this one to be highly disappointing! For starters, the cheese sauce tasted like the nacho cheese you get at concession stands! The texture was super thick with no flavor. I would much rather spend my money making my own macaroni and cheese rather than eat pasta with nacho cheese on it!

A healthy, frozen macaroni and cheese meal by Weight Watchers.

Weight Watchers Macaroni and Cheese is my son's favorite quick dinner. He swears it's as good as any he has had. I myself am not a big fan of Macaroni and cheese, but my son is a connoisseur. I do love that it lower in sodium and calories than the traditional brands. This is a staple in our freezer.

Where's the cheese?

I was really happy to see weight watchers offer my favorite comfort food, but I was less than impressed. It tasted more like noodles in cream whether than cheese. The good part of it was that there was a lot of food for the calories, so it is a very filling meal. I was just really hoping for a little more cheese taste when I get my cheese craving

The Smart ones (by weight watchers) mac and cheese is fantastic.  It is quick to make in the microwave, affordable, helpful to my diet/lifestyle change and tastes good too!  The point value on the box quite helpful if you are following the weight watchers program.  The mac and cheese is filled with fiber so it will keep you full for a while which means you will feel satisfied.   One thing I like to do is take a one hundred calorie packet of wheat crackers and crush the bag.  I then sprinkle the bag over the heated mac and cheese to serve.  It adds a great crunch that allows me to spice up the meal as much as I can.  The points value increases by approx two points.  To me the two extra points are more than worth it.  I can take the mac and cheese and put it in a bowl with the crackers sprinkled on top.  It makes the meal feel a little more special and decadent.  Otherwise you are just eating out of a plastic dish and hoping for it to make you feel full.

Tastes kind of weird.

I was on Weight Watchers for maybe two years back in college, and I found it very successful, in general. I lost about 25 pounds (from 150 to about 125). That was a few years ago, but I still pick up these Smart Ones for lunch every once in awhile, because they are not terrible, and easy and quick to make, especially at work... I have a microwave close to my desk and I just pop them in. In general, I have found these prepackaged Macaroni & Cheese meals to be rather lacking. This one, in particular, is not very good. I always hate getting the "freezer" taste, and this was by far the only thing I could taste when I ate this stuff. On the plus side, it isn't THAT terrible, and it is low in fat and low in calories. It is great that you can find so many options in the supermarket for people who are on weight watchers and want to have a quick fix for their meals. The size of the meal is reasonable, I wish there was a bit more in the tray, but it's just an average dish.

The Best Lo-Cal Mac and Cheese around!

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Macaroni and Cheese is so delicious!  I love normal macaroni and cheese, but let's not kid ourselves, the stuff is full of fat and tons of calories...not to mention that I could eat the entire box in one sitting!  So I am happy to have the option of the Smart Ones Macaroni and Cheese.  It is super creamy with lots of sauce and the pasta is tender and cooked just right.  I love how it comes in it's own little plastic serving dish - which I like to re-use later for other things around the house.  It is just the right amount of food and goes good with a small green salad for lunch or dinner or have it by itsself for a snack.  I also like that they have the weight watchers points written on the package.  This macaroni and cheese is so good that I literally lick the dish clean...I mean I take my finger and run it all around the container licking up every bit of sauce! Definately try this product...you'll love it!

WW Mac and Cheese tastes like you're cheating.

This macaroni and cheese tastes way better than the nasty stuff you get in a box.  It is very good.  It takes just a couple of minutes in the microwave.  I throw green peas in with mine but you could add any veggie to make it a meal.  Low in calories and an easy lunch or dinner.  My godchildren also love it and they are good judges of good food.  Love it.

enjoying mac and cheese without cheating on my diet

Weight Watchers is always making high quality food products and this is definitely my favorite in its line of entrees. It is not easy finding macaroni and cheese that tastes great, is low in calories, and fits into any healthy eating plan. Weight Watcher macaroni and cheese tastes very cheesy, isn't salty, and is pleasing to the pallet. The noodles cook to perfection in the microwave and has tons of cheese sauce to cover. There is definitely nothing chinsy about this tv dinner. I enjoy eating it for lunch with a side salad and a nice glass of ice tea. To make it into a larger meal for dinner, I cook brocolli and mix it to make a macaroni, brocolli, and cheese entree. To change the flavor up a bit, I sometimes add ground pepper or a dash of tabasco sauce. Another plus is that it is low in points so fits perfectly for anyone on the lower side of the points scale through Weight Watchers. Try it, as I think you will enjoy it!
