Horrible product now - they ruined it and the toffee bars

1

I used to get a box every week and loved them. Then I picked up a box and saw they were only half coated with a really think layer of chocolate. I wrote it off to a factory issue but then the next week the box actually showed only half a coating. They did the same on the Chocolate Toffee bars. I have not purchased either since. Weight Watchers you have ruined what was a great product trying to save a few extra cents. It would have been better if you'd raised the price.

What happened to the decadent ice cream

1

This I've cream used to be wonderful. The best treat even if you were not counting calories. What have you done to it besides removing half of the chocolate and making the chocolate coating whisper thin? Everyone that came to my home and tried the raspberry dark chocolate USED TO LOVE IT! It was really decadent and satisfying. Now you have nothing but another diet ice cream that I forced myself to finished half and tossed rest the in the trash, sorry but it's the truth. PLEASE RETURN IT BACK TO AN ENJOYABLE TREAT :-)

Removing the delicious dark chocolate was a huge mistake!

I used to love these chocolate covered raspberry bars. For some unknown reason, they are now making them with only 1/2 of the bar covered in chocolate, and the chocolate recipe is not nearly as good as it was before. I hope Weight Watchers will go back to the former recipe and cover the entire bar in chocolate!

What happened???

These used to be my favorite treat. I bought at least a box a week. They didn't taste at all like a le calorie treat.,.,,what in the world happened. The chocolate covering is now so thin you can hardly tell it is chocolate and it only covers about half the bar!!! Just bought my last box.

Reasonable way to satisfy a sweet tooth

5

I'm a huge fan of dark chocolate, and love ice cream. However, ice cream doesn't love me. I can't physically tolerate the fat and sugar after gastric bypass surgery, and my waistline definitely does not need the empty fat, sugar, and calories. These bars are tasty, creamy, and taste indulgent. I love to have something I can really enjoy that doesn't make me sick, and doesn't destroy my eating plan. I'm not a fan of milk chocolate, and I was skeptical about the taste of this, but the dark chocolate coating does taste like dark chocolate, and the creamy raspberry center is very sweet and satisfying. I plan to keep these on hand as a way to satisfy dessert cravings without feeling bad about it.

Something different to try for desserts

With losing weight I wanted to still enjoy variety in my dessert choices and when I discovered the Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Bars I was thoroughly pleased. The dark chocolate coating of the ice cream bar is quite tasty and the raspberry ice cream is very creamy. Overall it's a crowd pleaser with the family and I can rest easy knowing that Weight Watchers ice cream didn't ruin my food calorie intake. High quality tasting dark chocolate, real fruit in the ice cream and produced by a well-known brand; I definitely will continue eating this ice cream.

Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Raspberry ice cream bars

5

When you are watching your weight it is hard to find a snack that actually tastes good, so these ice cream bars are a rare find. Most dieters wouldn't dare indulge in chocolate anything, but Weight Watchers has changed that. These bars are an indulgent treat whenever you crave something sweet, yet won't hurt your weight loss efforts. The frozen inside reminds me of frozen raspberry yogurt. It is just the right consistency , not really ice cream, but not yogurt. It is not too hard to bite into, and just a little tart with the right amount of sweetness, but that is overshadowed by the incredible dark chocolate that covers the whole bar. If you don't like dark chocolate than these bars may not be for you. They are slightly bitter, as dark chocolate should be, and have a nice crunch to it. It will fall into pieces, so be careful. The blend of chocolate with raspberry is perfect. You really wouldn't know these were a diet item. Very rich and very tasty. I highly recommend these for people who are watching their weight, but also want a sweet treat!

These bars satisfy my sweet tooth!

I'm at the point where I'm desperately trying to find ways to satisfy my (frequent) sweet tooth cravings without blowing my dieting efforts, and today was my first introduction to the Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bars. The bars are low point value (2 Points Plus), relatively inexpensive (coming in a box of 12) and truly do fulfill my "need" for something sweet. The chocolate coating is delicious and does taste like a dark chocolate (which means there's more flavor to it), and it's got a touch of crunch to it like that of a soft serve ice cream cone that's been dipped in chocolate (and the chocolate hardens, gets crispy). The raspberry ice cream filling is good as well, I only wish it had a little more tanginess and/or tartness to it as opposed to the very mellow, mild and subtle raspberry flavor. These bars aren't going to fill you up if you're hungry, but overall they're a pretty tasty treat!

Wow is all I have to say!

Oh my, when I first discovered Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Bars, I was not expected to become addicted to them! The texture between the dark chocolate coating and the soft, ice pop beneath are perfect together! This bar is unlike anything else I've ever had. They remind me, taste-wise, of the chocolate covered raspberry rings they sell around Hanukkah. They have a great taste and they're not bad for you! It's a winning combination!

Teetering on the fence.

My initial contact with these came s a result of me being on a dark chocolate with raspberry frenzy. I absolutely love dark chocolate with raspberry filled chocolate squares. But, I don't love the calories in them. I also know I can not give into every craving I have just because it pops into my mind. So, here I am, in the grocery store, searching for a compromise. Since my husband always eats sorbet, without fail, I went over to the frozen treats area. I was only slightly amused for a few seconds before it really clicked in, dark chocolate, raspberry... Weight Watcher's brand. Okay, it sounds like a plan. At home, I couldn't wait to tear into it to see if this could fit my compromise theory. Okay, the chocolate was really good. Tangy with just enough sweetness. Just the way I like it. The ice cream was just okay. Because I was expecting a particular taste, less sweet, I think I was less satisfied with the outcome. It had tiny chunks that I didn't like very much. And was a bit too sweet for my liking, I was seeking a more tangy taste whereas what I experienced was sweet and creamy. Not a bad dessert but, not my cup of tea either. Either way, the dark chocolate coating was very pleasurable so, it wasn't a total lose.
