Weight Watchers' - Blueberry Muffins —

To the Point

When I was on the Weight Watcher Program I was delighted to find Blueberry Muffins figuring they would be a great on the go breakfast.

A Closer View

Obviously the word "great" shouldn't be taken literally. There are 21 grams of sugar in each one and 370 grams of sodium. You'll get 190 calories for each muffin and though you'll get a lot of carbohydrates - 42 - you'll only get 2 grams of protein making these Weight Watchers Blueberry Muffins not the best choice in healthy eating. Blueberries are the fourth ingredient but the Weight Watcher muffins are artificially flavored as well.

The muffins are each individually wrapped. You'll get 3 in each box for which I paid $3.29. Each muffin is 3 points. I can eat 18 to 23 points a day.

The taste and more of the Blueberry Muffins

Pros

They are a decent size at approximately 2 plus inches around. They certainly aren't the size of muffins in a chain but I find them filling.

There are lots of blueberries inside. You won't be disappointed in not tasting or seeing blueberries.

They are moist.

They each sit in its own paper cuff at the bottom which comes off easily.

Cons

3 points is a lot for me to eat in about 15 seconds.

They are moist. Ok so how can this be a pro and a con? They are too moist. They are sticky to the fingers moist. Most of the muffin ends up on my fingers. They can't easily be broken in half.

Jo's Viewpoint

All in all I like them and would buy them again.
