Great way to lose weight and keep it off

I was a little afraid about trying out Weight Watchers, as I had tried the Atkins and South Beach deits before. But when my mom lost 30 pounds from Weight Watchers, I had to try it. I was also skeptical because I'm a guy, and most people who do Weight Watchers are women.

This program works, unlike many other diets. I've been able to lose weight consistently and keep it off. You may not lose 8 pounds every week -- most people only lose .5 to 2 lbs a week -- but the healthy amount of weight to lose a week is about 1 or 2 pounds. And unlike those diets where you lose 8 pounds in a week, with Weight Watchers you actually keep it off. It all has to do with exercise, eating the right foods, and eating the right amount of food.

The points system is very ease to use, and while it can be a pain to write everything down, it helps. The online eTools is a great alternative; I'm on the computer constantly and I only use the online points tracker, which is easy to use. You can eat normal food on Weight Watchers, but their branded food is just as good. although it can be pricey.
