Quick View: Wei East is a great skin care company but I also like their cosmetics. While they are not all natural, they are loaded with natural antioxidants and Chinese herbs that are good for the skin. I love the Wei East Flawless by Nature China Herbal Powder Blush, although it can be a bit messy.

About Wei East Flawless by Nature China Herbal Powder Blush

This blush comes in a .21 round shallow container. The blush is loose powder so there is a sifter over it to keep it from flying all over but it still sometimes does. There are two shades: Chinese Rose and Chinese Cinnamon. The Rose shade is for light to medium skin and the Cinnamon for deeper skin tones. I have both and I really don't notice a huge difference in shades except that the Cinnamon is a tad deeper but not too deep for my medium skin.

The blush is finely milled and silky. Although it's a powder, it goes on almost like a cream but without the streaks. It's very subtle or you can add more to give your cheeks a rosy glow. The great thing about this blush is that it not only blurs lines and skin imperfections but it lasts all day and night without fading. Even in bright sunlight, it looks completely natural. I have had people ask me why I was "glowing" and no, I'm not pregnant (Ack) nor do I have a secret. lol. Well, I suppose my secret is Wei East Flawless by Nature China Herbal Powder Blush.

The one issue I have with the blush is that, because it is loose and the container is wide around, too much blush can filter out and land on top of the sifter and get messy. I have read where some people keep tape over all but a few holes in the sifter and that sounds like a good idea. I tend to just open my blush very carefully and use the residue in the top to blush my cheeks. Wei Easy has recently come out with a solid powder blush, I believe, that addresses the messy situation but I really like the loose powder and am willing to deal with the possible powder residue.

This blush does contain talc but also contains silk and pearl powder, Mandarin orange peel, and several Chinese herbs and extracts.

My Viewpoint

Wei East Flawless by Nature China Herbal Powder Blush is a very natural looking, non shimmery blush that lasts for hours on the skin. It looks like you're glowing, not wearing blush. It's buildable and very silky with no powdery look on the skin. I like it a lot and give it 4 stars. The loose powder does make touching up a bit of a challenge. Luckily, I don't have to touch up often at all. For under $15.00, this blush is a steal.

If she doesn't like them, send them to me! lol. The White Lotus line is for dry, mature skin and the Chestnut line is to firm so they all are good. Wei East is having a sale on their site and I just have t get the eye cream if nothing else.

Ohh my mom would love that too. Have to go ask Bublefan where she got it.

Great review. You've got me started on Wei products in one of your past reviews. I ordered my mom a big skin care set for $70 (all products worth $300). I hope that she likes them. :-)
