Wegmans - Amherst, NY Reviews

Wegman's is the best one-stop shopping experience.  First off, it's a huge grocery store, with an incredible produce section.  They offer organic produce as well, which is great.  They sell a large variety of beer and have a great bulk candy section.  There's an in-store pharmacy, as well as aisles upon aisles of drug-store type items - it's like a CVS inside a grocery store.  There is also a gourmet cheese section, where someone is available to cut you any amount of a large number of international cheeses.  They have a great butcher shop and seafood counter.  Then there's the food - there's...

People who are not from "around here" always make a point of stopping at Wegmans.  It's not your usual grocery store!  There is everything here:  organic foods, sushi, hand-made subs and pizza, service like you wouldn't believe, a coffee shop, a brick oven where they bake fresh bread, a pharmacy, and fabulous store brand products.   It's even a nice place to go and sit down for lunch with friends.

There are only a few down sides.  The first is that you pay for what you get.  Yes, the prices sometimes are higher, particularly in the meat section.  Also, if you are a late-night shopper, sometimes...
