I bought this grill for my husband for his birthday two years ago and we use it with a charcoal starter and it works great! We don't cover it or put any thought into caring for it, at most I've cleaned the grate but it is so simple and worry free. The area of this grill is 18" which is enough for a at least four burgers,.
