Purchased the Weber Gas Grill in 2002, included upgrade to the stainless steel grates. The performance is excellent. The grates are now showing wear and I will replace them soon. No problems with the device other than the inside of the lid paint flecks off. It does not harm the food, but it is annoying. The grill ignites easily. The newer models have burners that work left to right. The older model I have the burners work front to back and that makes it difficult to cook a variety of things at the same time. So make sure the three burners are left to right and not front to back. Performance Do not like burners front to back, it makes it hard to cook more than one thing at a time using different temperatures. The paint flecks are annoying.
