If you go to Weber State University Signpost student magazine and type Sethunya in the Search box, you can read for yourself what happened!

Meri,
Your daughter is probably telling you the truth. I have had very brilliant professsors at the University. That is a fact. It is the administration that I think foreign students must be warned about. The University admitted my children into the University and it turned out that it was against the law to do so because they were minors from a foreign country...this is my simple way of saying F2 status. They should have waited to have independant status before they were admitted but the University took them in. You would think that a University knows who is qualified and who is NOT qualified for admission but Weber State University did not know or they would have turned my sons down.

Then they said my status was taken away from me by a computer glitch....I lost my rights in this country allegedly due to a computer glitch...or so they say. I have been in and out of court and scammed by immigration lawyers who must cover up for this scandal....I am happy your daughter had a positive experience. I brag about two degrees I obtained from Weber State University. I wish I only had to talk about my professors and nothing else about the University! Foreign students can end up in trouble at Weber State and not even know it.....!

I don't know if it is permissible on ths site to disclose more details on this story but I will send you links to places where you or your daughter can read about what hapens in the dark alleys!

My daughter graduated from Weber State [twice]. She loves it. In her words, "I bleed purple!" I am sorry your experience wasn't as wonderful.

I am sorry to hear about Adonais...but love will always persist and for this we should be thankful.

Gigi is my nickname since early college years. I was a cheerleader and very small and full of life. The squad nicknamed me this to make it easier to call out my name in cheers and it stuck. the "andAdonai" part of my screen name is in memory of the life of my life who was killed in a car accident. Adonai was the nickname we gave each other meaning, "my secret or my confidante." It's a religious word and one of the many names that was given to the Lord.

Gigi,
The professors are brilliant...I shoud add this but if you are a foreigner and need guidance with immigration, they can actually get you in trouble! What do your abbreviations stand for?

Sounds like you weren't happy with Weber. I graduated from both UTC and USC.
