When I bought my house 9 years ago I was delighted to have a gas outlet to hook up a gas grill. I shopped around before  I decided on the Weber Genesis grill, with the natural gas hookup.  I have not been disappointed. We grill a lot living in the high desert.   The Weber Genesis gets dirty, but is very easy to clean.  I have replaced the cooking grates once, and next time I think I'll go with the stainless option.  I've never had to replace any other part.  The hose still looks like brand new.   I'm considering buying a new grill, but really don't have a good reason, it would just be for the nice looks of a new grill, but really, how long would that last?  The burners work well, and have never clogged up. The starter still works just fine.  I've noticed a bit of black paint on the left outside starting to peel, but it's not on the hood or the inside.  The Weber heats up fast and holds the heat well.  It works as well now, 9 years later, as it did when it was new.

I have been purchasing gas grills for over 40 years...that's right....forty years! In that time, I have tried all different makes and models. However, I never put out the big bucks to buy a Weber. I always thought that a cheaper grill would be just fine, and the food would taste just as good, so who cares if it's a Weber or not. Well, now that I finally broke down and bought the Weber Genesis, I realize what I have been missing all these years. Not only does the grill look beautiful (and impress my friends) but there also is a significant difference in the grilling. No longer do my steaks come out burnt on one end and raw on the other. Also, I can already tell that this grill will hold up much better than the ;previous ones. I was buying a new grill every few years, because the parts would disintegrate. Not this grill! I think this one will last a very long time, and every barbecue now has become a pleasure. I would highly recommend this grill!

We got this grill last year. Since owning it, we have cooked on it at a minimum of twice per week. The grill does take a little long to preheat, but it's well worth the wait. Almost everything we cook comes out tasting yummy. Though marinading and spice are key to a great taste, nothing compares to cooking on this grill. The grill cooks evenly and the meat is tender almost all of the time. The grilling area is spacious with an ample 'keep warm' rack. The side burner is like having a mini gas stove. Though I do wish there was a slight raise on this side burner so that it would keep the wind at bay. The pull out tray comes in very handy. We often have marinades, utensils and a plate out when grilling. There is not enough room for all of these, so having the extra tray means no more running back and forth to get items. The gas tank is very easy on and easy off with minimal fuss. I would give this grill 4 out of 5 stars.

We bought this Weber BBQ seven years ago when we build our custom home. We were looking for a Grill that could hold a lot of food but at the same time it would be easy to control. The Weber Grill has all that and so much MORE! Every New Years Eve we have our family over for a nice big party. My husband comes from a big family so we are easily around 40 people for that party. We always have BIG nice New York Steaks and with that many people we have a lot of Steaks. So our Weber is used for good that night. We always get a wonderful taste og BBQ and a fast way of getting our steaks done! I also often grill corn on the cob on our Weber. I turn the Weber on low pu the Corn on in the husks, left in water for around 10 minutes first and then onto the grill. After around 20-30 minutes they are done and they are wonderful. I will say I really love our Weber Grill and I will for sure buy another one when this one is too old or I just need a newer model! Weber Grills are AWESOME!

We have owned our Weber grill for over 8 years now.  It has moved with us twice!  It has always worked great!  We bought a cover for it and it still looks great after all these years.  My daughters have purchased 2 grills (not Weber) because they were cheaper and have to replace them both.  If you want something that is going to last you many, many years then put out a little more money and see the savings when you still have your original grill and everyone else is on their second or third!

The Weber Genesis Gold is a great grill. I have had mine for years, and have had no problems with it ever. I have cooked everything on it, from vegetables to salmon and burgers. I never have a worry with this grill. I preheat it 15 minutes before I am ready to cook, and know it will perform when I am ready to cook. The grill surface is nice and large, and the rows of flames heat the grill racks evenly. I still have not figure out a good way to clean the racks. I have event tried a pressure washer with less than fantastic results. I won't use chemical oven cleaner. The propane tank is very easy to install on this unit. I even have my 9 year old son do it, with no problems. I find the temperature gauge pretty useless. I watch my meat, and use in internal thermometer to test my meats. Maybe it is useful for those who want a specific temperature, although I don't know how reliable it would be when opening and closing the lid. I would recommend this grill.

This grill is one of two Weber's we own and they are awesome.  The built in thermometer is accurate so that you don't put your food on a cold grill and the flavorizer bars catch the dripping juices from meat and they evaporate them so the flavor goes right back where it belongs.  Get one, you won't be sorry!

The temperature is accurate and allows quick results when cooking your favorite foods.   WE HAVE OWNED our Weber Genesis Gold for EIGHT YEARS NOW! AND IT STILL KEEPS ON GOING AND GOING AND GOING AND GOING.......! Now, with all my experiences learned in grilling, my wife Barb, and myself, have said, maybe it's time to 'upgrade' our grill for another more professional Weber model; one with more grilling and handling space, like the Weber Genesis S-320 Gas Grill with Side Burner. It's a nice thought, BUT IN REALITY, WHY? By replacing our model's flavor bars and cooking grates (once in eight years now), we just smile and know IT'S A KEEPER! O' yes, I must mention, when I don't know the best way to grill, let's say, tonight's halibut or tomorrow night's fillet mignon, I just call Weber's 'hot line' (24/7), and a LIVE person is right there to keep me in the 'professional' manner of grilling that I have become accustom since owning my 'secret outdoors cooking weapon'! Thank you 'Weber', from 'THE GIPPER; THE MUSIC MAN, as you are DEFINITELY number ONE, WITH A BULLET!! P.S. Enclosed, we want to share a picture of our 'EIGHT YEAR OLD' baby!!
