One grill after another, a new one every few years.  I finally found an article in an airline magazine by a gentleman with a similar pattern.  His parents had invested in a Weber grill at the start and faced the teasing about being "rich" enough to afford a Weber.  Yet, his parents still had a used their Weber, while he was on grill number 4.  He finally learned his lesson that in the long run the larger initial investment was the most economical.  I purchased and Weber Genesis Silver and have never looked back.
