I'm always searching for a bargain.  When I was new to shopping online I became curious as to what a "coupon code" was when I reached the checkout.  I researched it and found that I could get an even better bargain if I used a coupon code.  What I found were websites that offered lists of codes you can get for particular stores.  Since then I always hunt for coupon codes before I finalize a sale.  However, most sites are not always up to date on their codes.  The first place I check is RetailMeNot.com.  Does anyone know of another site that is up-to-date and reliable, without having to become a member of that site?

shop online a lot and will use coupon codes for discounts.

There is a brand new site providing such promotional information, www.malletin.com. It seems it update content on daily basis and you don't have to register to get those offers. Hope it would be helpful.

I don't know of ones where you don't have to be a member, but If you sign up (it's free) at Upromise.com, you can get e-coupons that you can download onto your grocery rewards club card. Any time you cash in those coupons, some funds goes towards a student's or students' school or college fund of your choice. You also have to sign-up or couponmom.com, but it's free and they have free guides on how to use coupons so that the coincide with the lowest prices of the items as well as a database of the newspaper based coupon circulars so it better helps you to figure out when to use coupons! I LOVE the site! . . . I wish I new of some unmembers based ones to tell you of, though. I'll keep checking back in here, too! If I find ones, myself, I'll post them!

I have several sites that I faithfully use.  Couponcabin is a good one.  The Bargainist also has them up every so often.

I use retailmenot.com very regularly and found that it's the best one for me.  It's very rare that I don't find some code of value there.  I also use BigCrumbs.com and Ebates.com to maximize my savings/money back opportunities.

Thanks, everyone, for the other links - I'll add those to my money saving list!

I usually just use google, type in the name of the store I'm shopping +coupon and usually have a lot of luck within the first or second link.

I am with Gizzy, I just google it.  So if the store calls it "enter promotional code here"  I'll google store.com promotional code.  But if the store calls it "enter discount code here" then I'll google store.com discount code.  I don't give up after the first failed attempt either :)  I don't always find one, but I try like heck to!

I also use ebate which gives a cash back rebate for many stores.  You should check it out, I reviewed it on VP as did many others so you can look into it here.

That is a good point Crysta.  I have found 3 sites that I like that work with Kroger... P&G Esaver, Shortcuts.com and cellfire.com.  each of these is accessable from the Kroger .com website.  The best thing about these though is that you can also use a physical coupon on top of the ones you load to your card.  I've been able to get 2 Yoplait Kids packs for $2 total when they are on sale for 2/$4.  Often the printables at coupons.com (or mypoints for those who use mypoints.)  match what is on shortcuts.com as well.

If you shop online alot I would suggest ebates. they have over 1000 online retailers listed. You have to sign up but you get cash back and some even have coupons on top of the cash back. i.e. if you shop ebay you can get like 2.0% cash back and they have a designated coupon tab. I've seen up to 7.0% cash back on some sites.
