The previous reviews of iHerb seem out-of-date, out-of-touch.
Iherb used to be great -- the best. They WERE my favorite online store for supplements. Not any more. (Are they under new ownership?)
Customer service is practically non-existent now and shipping is UNBELIEVABLY slow. By most recent reviews on the web, there is a 2 - 3 week delivery time for shipping. My order took 20 days!! from date of ordering to my front door... however my credit card was charged one day after placing my order.

I almost didn't order from this company based on the reviews here. I'm glad I didn't listen. My first order was a pair of gloves and goggles. Great products and the shipping was as fast as anywhere I have shopped online. Next I thought I'd take the leap and order a jacket, risky proposition since the sizing reviews vary wildly even on their website. FTD
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I will never use FTD again. Ever. Tell all your friends.
Background: I am in the military, and I am away from home a lot as you can imagine. The weekend of this order was my anniversary. I had to go to duty through that period. Now, my wife has cancer... not asking for sympathy, just so you understand how mad this made me.

I first shopped at Sephora when visiting my daughter in Georgia. Now I have to go every time I visit. I wish there was one near me. I can spend forever in there. Overstock.com offers a wide range of products and I really like the categories. Also, the search engine is fantastic! You can search by price, category, sizes, etc. I will admit that some of the prices aren't the best BUT where can you get everyday shipping of less than $3.00 on ANY item without a specific purchase total???? Most sites may give you free shipping on certain items or on the purchase but that's the one great thing about Overstock.com - It's always this way. I am always looking for new recipe ideas and this is a great place for that. Not only that, but one of my favorite aspects of this site is that you can choose the ingredients tab and type in a few ingredients and it gives you ideas on what to cook! Great for when you aren't sure what you can make with some misc items in your house. Also great when you have meat and a few key ingredients (soups, rice, etc) but you don't know how to make something tasty with what you have! I had a nightmare of a return with RueLaLa also!! I returned an item and never saw the credit on my account — it was a $249 item!! I kept being told it was a computer glitch… an IT error… they gave me a $10 credit for my troubles and someone would call me back. Nobody ever called me back. I repeatedly called them and they kept saying the same thing — computer glitch, someone will get back with you. I then went to dispute it with AmEx. Webkinz are great products. What I like about them is they come in many many varieties and are reasonably priced. They are also well made (unless your dog likes them too - unfortunately for our sea horse one). The supply and demand stays in balance so no one is scrambling for the last Webkinz "chicken". My kid absolutely loves these little guys. Personally I don't understand the draw, but I'm not seven.... They are very reasonably priced which makes it very easy to have a birthday party and when parents ask what she wants I can include Webkinz and not have to worry that I am going to get a bunch...

Just after my daughter was born I found a web site I now love swapmamas.com. The site is the brain child of Darcy Cruwys and uses the tag line of "Smarter, greener & kicking the economy to the curb."
The site is so easy to use just set up a profile and list items you have to swap out and things you are looking for. Then you set up swaps with other moms on the site. No money changes hands and the giver pays the postage but it has worked out great for me.
I've swapped everything from recipes, to coupons, to clothes. My favorite swap however was a Zune; something I couldn't let myself indulge...

I LOVE ebay! Ebay has been called the world wide garage sale and it's true.
You can find almost anything on ebay. There are old, vintage items that you discontinued and hard to find. You can find things that are still new in the box and are cheaper than other websites and stores. You can win things for well under the price that it should be.
There is also something fun about going through the auction process with people from all over the world.
Selling on ebay is also a valuable tool to use when you are in need of some extra cash, going through closets and need the space so you decide...

Hautelook
I've gotten so many items from this site @ amazing prices. It always feels good to see something I've bought from HauteLook on another site selling for 70% more than what I paid for it! Shipping takes about 2 weeks, but this is how they can keep their prices low. If you go in knowing how long shipping takes, then the wait for it is not so bad.
