I wasn't sure I'd like this book when I read the back page description and since it was about circus life, but boy was I wrong.  This book kept my interest from the very beginning and I was so sad to finish it.  Sara Gruen is an amazing storyteller.  Loved the characters and felt like I was back in the 30s.  I just sent this book to my Mother as a Christmas present.   A great read, highly recommend!
