Watchmen is an ambitious mess that will partially confuse those not familiar with the graphic novel/ D.C. Comic  circa 1985 to 1987 and frustrate the comic's biggest fans.
  • 1. 166 minutes aka.. nearly 3 hours long.
  • 2. Lots of dumb action movie cliché moments, characters suddenly breaking into perfect...

The watchmen was by far the worse movie that we have watched. It is so long and it took us two days to watch it. We were so lost in what was going on. When it came out we were excited as it led you to believe that this was a comic like movie with your comic heros in it. But not.. Who were these people? What were they doing? What was the plot? My gosh what was this movie? The blue guy Dr. Manhattan are you for real? Did we have to see him naked that many times and see his you know what just all over the screen.

But to just sum it up what was this movie about? We were so lost and was so sick that...

I actually meant to write this review two months ago, but here it is anyway.

I finally read Alan Moore's Watchmen this past winter and thought it was fantastic.  And then I found out that the movie would be coming out soon.  So over Spring break, I went to see it.  It was pretty much wonderful.

The actors seemed so perfect for the parts they played.  I personally thought they looked just  like the book characters, but so far I haven't found too many people who agree with me on that.

I was very impressed by Rorschach's mask.  I have to say, I was really wondering how they planned...

I saw this movie the day after it came out, and I wished I waited until it was on DVD. I went with my boyfriend, who had read the graphic novel ( I wanted to before the movie came out, but wasn't able to). He said the only reason he appreciated it on any level was the fact that he enjoyed seeing the characters he knew on screen.
Since I had not seen the movie, I noticed lots of gaps in the story. While there was a decent amount of action, the movie lagged in parts. I have never fallen asleep in a movie before, and I closed my eyes and rested my head on my boyfriend's shoulder for a while. It just...

I never read the Watchmen graphic novel but being a fan  of   the superhero genre I was interested to see the film.  At first it seemd like a blatant anti war vehicle, all too common in Hollywood, but sticking with the movie I really liked it.  Obviously NOT for the kiddies or

casual movie goers.  The soundtrack was great, special effects top notch.  I really didnt like the ending,Otherwise it was thought provoking to say the least

I went to the theater with my family to see this movie because we won tickets.  I would have rather watched paint dry than watch that movie, it was horrible.  I am so glad I didn't pay for it. This movie doesn't even deserve one star but got one from me because of the sex scence and the blue man walking around with no clothes on.

This movie had a few interesting parts, but it was mostly boring and some parts didn't make sense even if you've read the book or seen the movie over and over. The part I think that seemed stupid was when they were supposed to be confronting the smartest man in the world, and they came to where he was hiding as if he wouldn't have already known they were coming, and come in as if they were going to suprise him. Helloo, smartest man in the world, duh!! Let us pray there will never -ever be a sequel..
