Washington Mutual - Platinum Mastercard —
I have used two Washington Mutual credit cards for the last two years. I was never late with a payment, and always paid at least 3 times the minimum payment. Last month, without notice, (unless it was in some tiny small print on my statement) raised both cards to 21.64% Thankfully, I did not run up a large balance, or use it for cash advances, or use the many checks they sent me. I will be transferring both balances to another credit card offering 10.5%. No wonder most people are not excited about bailing out these sleazy companies!
