I recently purchased the 15" Warrior MacDaddy ice hockey gloves from HockeyMonkey.com. After 5 weeks of use (approx 12 hours of ice time) the palm on the left glove ripped. The company states the 'lightweight nylon' as being tough and pro-hockey (NHL) grade but I will tell you now it is as strong and as thick as about 3 layers of cheesecloth. Really, if they would have used an old t-shirt they would have been better off in their product. Needless to say I contacted the retailer (HockeyMonkey.com) and the manufacturer (Warrior) and they both told me that my issue was a "normal wear-and-tear" result. I know... $200.00+ dollars and 12 hours of ice time and I learned a valuable lesson: Warrior gloves STINK!!! There's a reason why no local retailers carry the gloves and can only be bought online. Don't waste your money! Bauer, CCM, Easton, Eagle, Sherwood heck even Mission! Anyone BUT Warrior! Warrior should stay with making sticks and cool advertisements because producing quality gloves is NOT their strong suit!!!
