I have had my Waring Pro Restaurant Style Thick Belgian Waffle Iron about a year and a half and still absolutely love it!  It makes the best waffles I have ever had at home--and better than some I've had at nice restaurants.  The batter pockets are nice and deep, and when sprayed with non-stick spray first (I use Mazola) I have no problem with any sticking.  Measure the batter and you generally won't have overflow or under-fill.  A measuring cup comes with the waffler. — There are 11 heat settings numbered 1-6 with marks in between.  3… read full review »

The Waring waffle maker has made the word breakfast important in my home again. This waffle maker is so easy to use and you get professional *real* Belgium waffles. Make your batter or use a mix...either way, they will come out perfect. Preheat your Waring waffle maker and make sure that you adjust to how you want your waffles cooked...light, medium or dark colored. I purchased this as a gift for my daughter she has a family of four. They love it!  The waffles are thick and fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside.  This waffle maker is an absolute celebration with every use.  It is simple to use and virtually no clean up.  My daughter creates a variety of items on the side to adorn each waffle.  Her family never grow tired of eating waffles it provides a "perfect taste everytime".    … read full review »

My husband is the true waffle maker. I have had to make a few waffles without his help. No problem with this machine. It has a built in timer, drip tray -which if filled properly you never need. A nice feature I think for moms is that once the iron is flipped it's locked. Kids can't mess it up (believe me mine have tried). The outside is brushed steel - very professional looking- and the inside is non stick. I literally wipe it down with a cloth. Easy is ALWAYS nice. I LOVE waffles...and have been looking a long time for a waffle maker that makes such big beautiful perfectle cooked every time waffles!  This may cost a bt more than an oridinary waffle maker but it makes extraordinary waffles!
