Waring Waffle Maker - Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker —

It's Sunday morning and my parents are making one of their all too few visits to our home.  I decide to pull out my Waring Waffle Maker - Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker to impress them with my ability to whip up a batch of waffles in no time at all and without a recipe in sight.

I plug in my Waring Waffle Maker - Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker, spray the griddle with some non stick cooking spray (your choice) and set it for "4" which normally makes me perfectly, all they way cooked through golden brown waffles. Using an standard box mix for pancakes and waffles I make up my mix.  Using the Waring Waffle Maker - Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker pre-measured cup the mix is poured and the lid closed. With one hand I can flip the waffle and let it finish cooking. A few drops of batter land on the splash tray that is easily removable and cleaned in the sink or dishwasher.

While cooking, I pull out strawberries and blueberries, wash and remove the stems.  Open the lid of the Waring Waffle Maker - Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker  and remove this professional looking waffle with the wand that comes with the waffle maker. A dap of butter, sprinkle with powdered sugar top with whipped cream or powdered sugar and the fruit and I have a Sunday brunch that rivals those $25.00 a person buffets.

In just minutes I have a stack of waffles, courtesy of my Waring Waffle Maker - Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker, a full brunch on the table and the whole family together oohing and ahhing over my delicious home made waffles.  I can't resist, "Look ma, no recipe." (family joke)

Secret ingredient to waffles or pancakes - cinnamon.  Add some to the batter before cooking. Not only does it taste good but the use of cinnamon regularly has been proven to reduce the risk due to diabetes.

Blueberries, sliced strawberries, bananas, raspberries, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, whipped cream . . .just a few ideas to brighten up your waffles. :-D

I think waffles look nice but I don't eat them. I don't eat pancakes either. Why? I don't like syrup, honey or molasses. Well, I take that back. Years ago I did use pancakes in place of bread and had myself the most delicious PB&J "sandwich."

Aww waffles are easy -- the only trouble is my family eats them as fast as I can make them! :-D And no June Cleaver here -- I usually am in sweats until nap time at least! LOL

I was getting ready to say the same thing Patty did. I can't believe how many reviews you published in the past few days (during this time period). AND you were able to make waffles too. Are you sure you're name is Lisa Carey? Maybe it's June Cleaver or Betty Crocker ;+)

You're a writing machine! I can barely keep up with all your great reviews!
