Waring Waffle Maker - Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker —

I received the Waring Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker at my bridal shower last month.  I'm a big fan of homemade waffles and had been considering buying one off and on for the past two years.  I have to say that this one is definitely better than anything I would have bought for myself and well worth the money!

The Waring Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker is a rather large device and one that you will most likely have to store in a cabinet or closet.  It is incredibly easy to set up: you just plug it in, mix up your waffle batter (I use Bisquick), and brush some oil on the heated waffle plates.  This machine comes with its own measuring cup to which you can add batter (up to the "fill line) so you don't overflow the thing.  Once you add the batter, you rotate the plates 180 degrees which starts the timer.  The timer is connected to the 1-6 browning levels.  This machine has a knob that allows you to customize the browning level of your waffles.  The Waring Pro manual recommends using setting 4 for Belgian waffles.  Personally, I prefer mine to be brown and crispy on the outside, so I use the maximum setting of "6".

I've used this waffle maker several times now and have consistently impressed.  It is easy to use, easy to clean, and it produces wonderful Belgian waffles that are crispy, brown, and fluffy inside.  At about $50, I think that the Waring Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker is well worth the expense. Recommended!

Thanks for the kind words. We aren't having kids so I think it will work well for the two of us. =)

This is a wonderfully concise description of the waffle maker. I have one also, gift from the in laws and this one is wonderful. there is only one problem with it -- once it get kids you just can't cook fast enough for the whole family :-)
