I bought this waffle maker for my husband for Father's Day. I must admit I was really the one that wanted it, but decided it would make a great gift. I have to say this has turned out to be the best gift he has ever received.
This waffle maker is like one you would see in a hotel breakfast area. It is heavy duty and a well built machine. This is nothing flimsy about this model. First, and don't forget this step is to spray oil onto both the top and bottom of the machine. Then, you pour the batter and flip the handle to turn the waffle upside down. It has a green ready light to let you know when to start. It takes about four minutes to cook a perfect waffle. It beeps to let you know when it is done. It has a browning control so you can decide if you want a light or dark waffle. It also has a drip pan underneath to catch overflow. It also comes with a glass cup to put the batter in and show you how much to use with a fill line.
The waffles come out perfectly. They are just like you would get at a restaurant. Of course, very much less expensive. This is well worth the price tag. A great investment.
