Wardley Shrimp Pellet Formula Review Summary

Our reviewers report feeding Wardley Shrimp Pellet Formula to many different kinds of fish; red tailed sharks, goldfish, catfish, loaches, tetras, crabs, starfish and many others. The consensus is that "fish love them". They say that this this Shrimp Pellet formula is a convenient and low cost way to give your fish a special treat. The drawbacks are that these pellets will sink to the bottom pretty quickly, which shouldn't be a problem if you own bottom feeders. Tip: Wardley Shrimp Pellets swell when they get into the water, so you may want to start out by putting a little bit into the tank to avoid overfeeding your fish. I buy shrimp pellets, for our red tailed shark, as he is  mostly a bottom feeder.also in our other tank a loach in our golfish tank -photos encluded. — I do not use these as my primary sorce of food, nor would I recommend it as such,we give it to our goldfish once a week as a treat. And we add 1 pellet a day to our other tanks as a little extra for our shark as he eats the  wardley flakes two. — The one thing I did not care for is that the pellets sink to the bottom of the tank, so I soak them in the fish water for a little… read full review »

Wardley is another company that has been around for a long time.  I have several different catfish and I started buying this for them.  It comes in a can and is long pellets.  You only have to add a small amount because they fall to the bottom and swell up.  Not only do my catfish love them but my other fish go down there and snack on them.  Most tropical fish love shrimp and mine go nuts over it.  It can be purchased at Wallmart for a cheap price. If you feed too much it can cloud the water.  Also, a word of caution.  Only add a small amount because it… read full review »

Wardley Shrimp Pellets are a great choice for bottom feeding fish like catfish, plecostomus and loaches. I have four Albino Catfish, who enjoy eating these pellets. — — The food is very affordable, as I paid $2.00 for a small can. Its available at several stores and I purchased it on line at Petco. You can visit the web site at hartz.com to get a coupon. — — This food can be fed to many kinds of fish. Its good for fish with Vitamin C, which helps them to be healthy. Its important to not feed to much, as the pellet is small and then gets larger in the water. I… read full review »
