Did you ever see Christian Bale in his first movie, Empire of the Sun?

Definitely will look for this in future tho when life slows down and I actually have time to relax. lately things have been so crazy busy, I just don't have time for anything! Thanks for sharing!

Btw, I didn't get the batman craze either. my fiance wanted to see that one the whole time it was out and I was like, do we have to? can't you go without me???... he never ended up going becos i didnt really want to and he just didnt want to go see it alone. i am sure he will pounce on it tho when dvd is out. it was so hyped because of heath ledger and he is prob more interested cos of that. honestly i could care less LOL

I sat thru one of the earlier batman films with my fiance prior to the dark knight release to see if maybe I might like it.

I absolutely hated it and was bored to death. I didn't 'get it' and I really could care less for christian bale - everything he is in is dry/boring .

No offense if you are a fan of his, I know all the critics say he is great but I personally don't see it!!

ps can u tell by my personality, most things are either black or white. i either love something right away or hate it, and almost always know what i feel/think right away. guess u could say i am opinionated and a strong personality. somex this can be a flaw!!

Will check out one of these days although not a big action film fan but do have a handful I have loved over the years. I LOVE Mcavoy who has been in several indie film and foreign film over the past two yrs all of which were faves of mine. He is a great dramatic actor. This role must be a bit of a change of direction for him. I feel Jolie is way over-hyped and am tired of hearing about her to be quite honest LOL I liked her a long time ago, eons, hehe but she just seems so pretentious and 'fake' everytime I see anything on her that I now feel annoyed everytime I see her face lol I did kind of like Mr and Mrs Smith, it was not boring, edge of your seat action, and witty so maybe I might like this. Personally I liked her in earlier films- indie ones- Foxfire and Gia but that's just me :)
