Wanted —
As a parent of small children, I don't get out to the movies often. I look forward to DVD release dates the way others look forward to opening nights at the theaters. I've been looking for the Wanted DVD release since I saw the previews and I'm glad to say it did not disappoint me at all. I had high expectations of the film to entertain and captivate me, but I was surprised that it motivated me as well.Wanted's action scenes were incredible and unique. Although violent, action buffs will enjoy the way the special effects challenged conventional gun fights, tearing open the envelope of possibilities.
Plot twists aplenty give substance to Wanted's intense action. Add a message in there and you've got yourself a blockbuster. I dont' think the world is ready for Meredith and Jolie to lead an army of viewpoints assassins. Frankly, between coaching soccer and changing diapers, I personally wouldn't have the time anyway. But that's not the message i'm talking about. We each has potential far beyond what we consider possible.
