Wanchai Ferry Orange Chicken is a great product that really lives up to it's claims.
I made this last week when my boyfriend was over for dinner. The bag claims it takes 14 minutes to prepare - and it took me about 16! Not too shabby. On the bag, there are a few suggestions for additions to the kit or side dishes. I did take that advice and added some fresh peppers and onions. I am glad I did or we would have still been hungry! We ate every last bite.
The kit was low on chicken, I thought, but the chicken was excellent quality. The sauce included was a little too sweet for my taste, and if I had to do it again, I wouldn't have added the entire packet. However, it definitely had the "restaurant quality" the package claims!
The rice packet included was easy to use - you just put it in the microwave - and the rice came out surprisingly fluffy and delicious.
I think the price is a little high for what you get (more chicken would have made it worth it), but they are currently offering a coupon on their website, so that makes it a much better deal. http://www.wanchaiferry.com/
