Disney World is a magical vacation. A place where everyone is happy and you can forget about your troubles for a few days and have a great time. Every employee is kind and really wants you to have a good time. This helps create the magic.
My 6 year old was in a shop begging for a bag of rocks(she has 3 already). I refused because of the expense. The shop keeper let her pick out one and told her it was a special, magical rock, make a wish. That is just a small example.
The character meals are very special. Mickey comes over to the table to take pictures and sign autographs making the kids feel special.(and grownups too). I love the character meals. They are worth the expense. You don't have to wait in the lines to see the characters in the park. They come right to you!
I haven't even mentioned the rides yet! The rides are so magical. Peter Pan has you fly over scenes from the movie in a pirate ship. It's a small world has you travel through different countiries in a boat. Winnie the pooh has you bobble through the hundred acre woods in a honey pot.
The Animal Kingdom is a must see while visiting Disney World if you are an animal lover. The safari is phenomenal. You ride up close to the animals in an open vehicle. Creating the image of a safari in Africa. Then there is a gorilla exploration trail where you can view gorillas up close. They can be quite mischievous sometimes as they were on our last visit.
Some might find Disney World expensive but it is worth every penny. When I am not there I am planning ways to go back!
