We actually received this card when returning a gift to Walmart that we did not have a gift receipt for. It was really easy to use. The only drawback (if you can call it that) is the fact that it's only redeemable at Walmart. We much rather would have liked cash back for our return so we could use it anywhere, but there's always something we can buy at Walmart, so it worked out okay. There are no fees for these cards which is great and no activation fee. They can also be used online which is great and you can ship your items to the store for free pick up. Overall I would recommend a Walmart gift card. We had a good experience with using ours. Also a great thing about using a gift card is that at the end of the receipt your balance is printed so you don't have to guess, call any number, or visit any website. If you love Walmart or know someone who does the Walmart gift card is a great option.

The Walmart Gift Card is a great card for anyone. Unless you are high society or have a problem shopping at Walmart, you can not beat their prices or variety of items. Young or old there is something for everyone. As children grow, friends and family move it is hard to keep up with that everyone likes or has. I rather do a more personal gift if I know someone and an a part of their daily life, but for those that have moved and you are not sure what to get a Walmart Gift card is a good choose. You can get toys, music, movies, clothing, personal products even food. In my opinion it is the best all around place to shop. The gift card never expires and is refill able which is nice if your doing if for someone to help them out. You can register the card and kept track of the spending. Very easy to add more money to it online. Kids away a college nice way to see that they have what they need without having to keep sending money or Western Union and pay those fees.

If you're getting this as a gift for someone, be forewarned - some people boycott Walmart for various reasons. So know the person you're gifting. Other types think it is below them to shop at Walmart. But for a lot of people - Walmart is a fast and convenient and let's not forget - cheap- place to purchase goods. I received a Walmart gift card as a birthday gift. I enjoyed it. Easier then carrying cash. Walmart has such a great huge selection of products. I like the variety of what I can buy using the gift card. For example, it's not a gift card from a clothing store where I can only buy those clothes. What if I don't want to buy clothes or like those clothes. At Walmart there are so many things you can buy and use at usually the best price around. Plus the gift card will never expire so I'm not in a time frame to buy something and the card won't go to waste. At checkout time all you have to do is swipe the card like a credit card after your total. Easy.

I like to give the Walmart Gift cards for Christmas Presents , Birthdays, Anniversary's , and Graduations. They are easy to pick up and i can put whatever amount of money on them I want. This way, the recipiant can get whatever they want, and not something i pick out for them. And Honestly, who Doesn't shop at Walmart, they will always be used. I was given a Walmart Gift Card for the first time recently and couldn't wait to get into the store to spend it. I pretty much venture into Walmart every day and let's face it, they sell everything from groceries to clothes, electronics, sporting goods, toys, pharmacy items and seasonal products. This gift card is, not as good as cash, it's better than cash. You don't have to count out money, you don't have flatten your screwed up or ripped notes, you don't need change, you just hand it to the cashier and you're done. There are no charges to use it, no charges to buy one and they don't expire. You can even swipe them at the self serve aisle and then scan the bar code on the back to confirm your cards validity. The only criticism I have is purely that I wonder how many people forget they have them, put them away in a drawer for safe keeping and forget to use them. I think they're a perfect gift, especially for teenagers.

I like using these gift cards when I can. They're very easy to use, and you can use them both at Walmart and Sam's Club. You can also reload the cards at both stores as well. The are also very easy to reload online at walmart.com. I like how they're reloadable. Not all cards are, unfortunately. The cashiers and customer service know this, but when you need to get money back, or give them money to put on a gift card, they quickly reach for a new gift card, rather than take the one you already have or ask you if you have one you'd like to put your money on. That's just wasteful and makes you load up on gift cards when all you need is one. Then they give you a hard time about transferring your funds to the card you wanted it on in the first place, saying they already put it on the other gift card. They CAN transfer the the money, they are just too lazy to do it. Other than that, the gift cards are great!

A Walmart gift card is an almost always safe bet for gifts, unless you run into someone who loathes Walmart like myself. But, that itself is regardless to the actual gift card. Walmart's are everywhere so almost everyone has access to a Walmart, and if not, these cards are also good online and their shipping is like 97 cents for some items. These are reloadable as well, and they are easy to use. I highly recommend as a gift for others.
