I checked into the Walmart site originally to check for the local discounts in my area and was so surprised to find out this site features so much more than just a store.  My favorite area is the free samples section where you can try new products they are promoting as well as find out about… read full review »

BEWARE-WALMART IS THE WORLDS LARGEST DEALER OF LEAD TOYS — It is so sad that such a huge retailer, located in every town of the USA; — that we all love and trust is such a huge supporter of a Communist Country. — When you shop at Walmart you may as well be in China.… read full review »

Wal- Mart is the largest retail operation in the world and the largest corporation in the United States in terms of total annual sales revenue. The company made the decision many years ago to establish a presence in cyberspace. The addition of an internet on- line store has now added more money to the mountain of Wal- Mart revenue. The web site is simply Walmart.com, the on- line store for the retail giant. — — Web Site Commentary: — — Walmart.com offers merchandise for sale in the following broad categories: Electronics, Photo, Movies & Music, Books, Toys,… read full review »

When I learned that Walmart no longer offers holiday layaway I was pretty bummed. However, while at the store being overheard griping, a lady pointed out to me that Walmart has this great service where you can shop on line and then have all your purchases shipped to your Walmart store. You don't pay shipping and everything is in one big tidy box for you to pick up at your leisure. I was totally excited about the concept. The next day I eagerly started shopping Walmart.com and was so proud of myself for getting my holiday shopping started without having to do the actually shopping part. As a… read full review »

You get what you pay for really sums it up for Wally Worlds flower delivery service. — I got flowers left outside my locked gate out here in the country the night before Mother's Day. — But they were NOT for me. — They were for another woman and all I had to go by was the card written too Becki Cason. — So not knowing who that was I took the flowers to the next driveway and left them there. — Mind you this was at 11:30pm Saturday night that I found these flowers that were not mine, so there was no one to call about it. — I hope they made it to Becki Cason… read full review »

As an introvert, I enjoy online shopping, and thanks to gift cards, my favorite is shopping at walmart.com. After getting a gift card for my birthday, I checked out Walmart.com to see how easy the ordering process is. It is very easy, and the savings are good too even with the shipping. I mainly shop for books, and the store has a fairly limited selection, usually bestsellers, Christian, and children's. However, the website's selection is endless. Great selection and great prices. What more could I want? The site keeps track of the gift card number and says how much money is left on it.… read full review »

I bought a kitchen online through walmart.com in November which was on sale for a GREAT deal.  I was so happy to learn that we could use the site to store feature which would save us an incredible amount on shipping (the item was more expensive on other sites and costed over $20 to ship!).  — We have used site to store before and every time - we have a hard time when we get to our local wal-mart.  The associates have no idea how to do it (the first time we went to pick something up we were OVER AN HOUR) and end up getting other associates involved in order to get our… read full review »

Walmart, An industry in shame. —        Remember when Walmart first started?  It was headlined as the next big thing, and it worked. You could fined almost anything you needed, and at really resonable prices. So , What happened?  They are still as big as ever , they have even expanded to the degree of Grocery's hair salons and the latest, Banking. So in a nut shell it's almost one stop shopping, and don't forget ,you can fill the tank  as you are leaving. So if this is al so convenient,… read full review »

There was a time, not so long ago, when I would choose Walmart other all other similar stores, given a choice.  Their prices tend to be lower, sometimes significantly, than competitors, which is key in my life.  However, a recent incident with them has caused me to re-evaluate where I shop. — — About two months ago I made a purchase on Walmart.com.  It was a gift for my sister, who lives on the opposite side of the country and I made sure to mark it as such, complete with a card and note.  The item, a day-by-day Harry Potter 2008 calender, was on pre-order,… read full review »

Walmart is truly the king, but no one hardly seems to openly admit it.  They have soooo much market share now, and, of course, with that comes absolute power, that they force PNG, for example, to design Kleenex boxes exactly they way that they demand them (color, length, width, depth etc.), and if PNG says no, then PNG would probably shrink away from the top 100 companies out there because Wal-mart would simply go somewhere else to get the product exactly how they demand it.  Now that is ABSOLUTE POWER!  No one can beat Walmart's prices either (duh), and no one grows that way… read full review »

Walmart is a very smart company in a lot of ways and that is why they are one of the leading distributors when it comes to big box stores.  However, they severely lack in getting their products to the consumer when you order with them online.  Most companies will take a week to two weeks depending on your location...Except walmart!  I personally didn't receive my shipment until little over a month and a half later.  When you call their customer service line to inquire about your purchases, their staff is not very knowledgable and is very vague as to any details.  They… read full review »

I ordered many items for my new house through Walmart.com Site to Store.  First, I loved the idea that I wouldn't have to pay nearly $75 is shipping costs (since I ordered so much) by having it sent to the store.  Second, since I was moving I didn't know which address to ship the items to.  I was afraid they would get lost in between the two adresses- so I ordered and had sent Site to Store.  It took longer for my items to arrive then they said, all items were not shipped (and the only way to get them again was to be refunded my money at the store and go back on the… read full review »

Walmart is one of those places I love to hate.  They save me tons of money because their prices are way lower than anywhere else around my city, and I like being able to get everything in one store (food, automotive, drugstore, sewing, etc.).  — — However, they are sadly lacking in variety - they carry only a few types of things in certain brands, and I often find myself having to branch out to other stores to find unique foods.  Also, they will carry products for a few weeks, then suddenly completely stop carrying them for no apparent reason.  They don't… read full review »

I ordered from Walmart Ship to Store and here was my experience: — — 1.The order did not arrive on time..it was a week late — — 2.There was no one at the Walmart ship to store window, an employee was finally found after a 20 minute wait — — 3.No one checked to make sure of the contents in the box I was picking up was what I ordered (walmart policy says it has to be checked before they give it to you) — — 4.After arriving home I found that the contents inside the package were not what I ordered.... not even close. Causing another trip bak to… read full review »

Sadly we all need Walmart...since we are very budget concious using Walmart is a must.  My biggest complaint about Walmart is the lack of product availability...so often I go looking for an advertized deal and they are out.  Grocery shopping can be frustrating for the same reason...products are not on the shelf or not in the right place.  — Walmart needs to upgrade their produce department.  I will pay extra at another store to get fresh greens, beans and other perishable items.  Wilted lettuce, beans, asparagus and broccoli seem to be the norm.  I rarely… read full review »
