Walmart Shopping for Bicycles Any Bike/Bicycle - Just a short and sweet heads up to anyone buying a bike at walmart or anywhere it is good to know thier policy.

Once you bought it it is yours No Exchanges !!! They will fix it for free,but it will take a long time.....Look that bike over really good before you walk threw that checkout...

This is what happened to us;

 We took the kids shopping for thier bikes they had some birthday& christmas money and thats what they wanted to get new bikes we looked around and walmart had the bikes they wanted.. We had the store employee pull the bikes down from the rack, The employee notes that to check all the screws and bolts  before riding as they put alot together and some may be loose.  We did notice the back tire was loose on the one bike but there was no others like it, so we took it no really giving it much of a second glance !! DUMB on our part,the back wheel was not  just loose the rim was slightly bent !!

Back to walmart, not even a hour after we bought it tags and all,To return it to get another.... NOOOOOOOO ,Nope ,no -return policy you have to leave the bike there, and they will repair it for free, One whole month we waited because they had so many  bikes to repair and they had to order that part !!!

~~~~  I recommend anyone buying a Bike/Bicycle "Really look at the bike", Note the store policys...Before you buy anywhere,so you will not run into the same problem we did..
I've had my Raleigh about 2 months now. Just as the salesman explained; shift cables will strecth over time. I brought it back in & in less than 5 minutes I was back out...shifting OK. FREE adjustments for life. I will never buy another bike from a discount store.
