Walmart Any Fish Review

We own two tanks 1 - 10 gal. goldfish tank, 1 - 30 gal. tropical tank.I have boughten 3 goldfish,2 betta's,2 tiger barbs, a really big golden snail.from walmart

We have bad luck with the bettas, But had really good results for the rest of the fish.

I am Thankful to say,our N.falls walmart has been good to us on fish,Yes I have seen some bad shipments of fish that have come and gone but I have seen at other stores too.

Our  2 goldfish we bought as babies within 1 year are huge, I think alot of it is understanding food and tank quality & tank temp. at home, goldfish can and are very dirty  fish that admit high amounts of  amonia (that is toxic),air quality is important to these fish that needs a good filter or you will have to clean the tank reg.-A job that no-one likes to do.If your fish swims along the top sucking air, means the air quaility is low and you need a bubbler.

I have mine in a 10 gal tank with filter,not much maintaince to worry about,they sell this kit for 20.00 at walmart or the deluxe kit  for 30.00

As a new tank it is recomended to read the basic booklet provided and do not add fish to it for 24-48 hours to get the right temp.and wash the new rocks really good.
