I always joke that if it weren't for Walmart, my kids would starve and run around naked! But, truly, it's not a joke. With a family of five this store is a God send. I have three growing boys. Two of which are teenagers and one 8 year old who thinks he's a teenager. They are growing by leaps and bounds and I can never keep them full or in shoes. I love Walmart. There products are great and there prices are low. I can go to Walmart and get everything I need. And since Im in college and dont have much money I know going into Walmart that I will get a good deal. Unfortunately I have shopped at Walmart many times. For a while they were the only bargain store around here. Walmart is a great store with good prices, but they need to spend more time on customer service. They come into a town, fully staffed, and then little by little drop service people out of areas. When you need to find someone for help it is very difficult. RE-VAMP YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE! OH.......Watch your receipt too. well walmart has a great pro. thats their prices on just about anything your looking for. they do have great sales and clearance sales. i love shopping at walmart except for when i need help with something or go to check out! the workers are rue the sales associates get aggravated when you need help with something. THANK GOD FOR SELF CHECKOUTS!  i now use the self checkouts everytime i go. my shopping experiance is much more pleasant now since using the self checkouts but beware if you do have a problem with the self check outs the associates that work that area are rude and get… read full review »

     I would never have thought theday would come that I would be stranded at Wal-Mart. It was a day like any other, you know the kind. Running around doing everything you need to do and hoping you can get home and relax. Being not just a WalMart shopper but also a employee.  I can say up front that not every walMart store is like the one in the next town.  being a shopper long before becoming a employee, I have seen the good the bad and the ugly of Walmart stores.  Out of 96 Walmart stores I have only found 16 that where Right on the mark with greeting and total costumer service. I do shop at Wal-Mart but it gets more annoying each time I do.  One week you get a good price on your staple items, the next week the price goes up.  Go back the following week and it is lowered again!  That little smiley guy that knocks the prices down, ALSO knocks the prices up but Wal-Mart doesn't admit that to the customer in their commercials.  It's a big game. — I also hate the fact that so many of their products are made in China.  Our country is going down the tubes in the manufacturing area.  And products from China are dangerous, as we are… read full review »

I used to enjoy shopping at Wal-Mart. Now I see their prices creeping up and up. For example, 100 percent cotton balls used to be $1.19, now they are $1.67 or more. (I find better deals at a Dollar Store.) Also, no one who works there seems to know where anything is located. I will ask an employee for light bulbs, for example, and they say, "That is not my department." In other stores, like Target, the employees who do not know where an item is located will say, " Let me ask someone who knows." They just built a Super WalMart Center where I live. The community surrounding this store is mostly senior citizens who ride in golf carts instead of driving cars or walking. The store that this Super Center replaced allowed the golf carts, but this new store does not. I believe that WalMart should have kept things the way they were, because now several of the senior citizens can not get to their store because either they don't own cars or can not walk that far.
