I used to enjoy shopping at Wal-Mart. Now I see their prices creeping up and up. For example, 100 percent cotton balls used to be $1.19, now they are $1.67 or more. (I find better deals at a Dollar Store.) Also, no one who works there seems to know where anything is located. I will ask an employee for light bulbs, for example, and they say, "That is not my department." In other stores, like Target, the employees who do not know where an item is located will say, " Let me ask someone who knows." Target employees sometime use the walkie talkie devices to ask someone else.

Also, every time I go to Wal-Mart, I feel like the stores get messier and messier. Last time I was in the food area, cookies were opened and all over the floor. You would think they would have enough employees and staff (since their hourly wages are so low), to monitor the departments.

Also, I have called before to ask a price, and I get "I am with a customer and am busy, sorry" to many times.

Return Policy

Last time I went to Wal-Mart to return something with a receipt, they wanted my license, which was ridiculous. And God forbid if you do not have a receipt, they will not even exchange it or give you store credit anymore. Why so strick? I work hard for my money, and if I make a human error and loose my receipt, I am punished and have to keep a defective item?

I would rather shop elsewhere.
