I was surprised by this movie!

My husband and I are very picky about what movies we pay $10 a person to see. Although we have loved the Pixar movies, we were very turned off by the preview for Wall-e. It seemed that there was not much of a plot, and we thought "how in the world will they make this work?!" However, after reading several favorable reviews, and having multiple people tell us that we had to see this movie, we decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! I can't give you a synopsis or a plot line; it simply is not that type of movie. (No wonder they had trouble with the preview!) This movie is complete with engaging characters and a tender love story, plenty of laughs, lots of twists, and a satisfying ending. And as big musical theater fans, we thoroughly enjoyed the references to "Hello Dolly" throughout the movie! Also, we have never laughed harder for any other Pixar short - it is worth the price of admission alone!
