I have taken my 11 yr old and 3 yr old to see Wall-E twice and they keep asking to go back and see it again. At first, I was concerned with taking my 3 yr old to see Wall-E because I knew there wasn't going to be a lot of dialogue; however, to my complete surprise she sat perfectly still and gave the movie her undivided attention. Both times, we went to the Movie Tavern where they serve meals during the movie so I was prepared for her to lose interest quickly. Both kids loved it! My 11 yr old son picked up on the lessons of human error and over consumption while my 3 yr old focused more on how Wall-E wanted to hold Eve's hand. When we left the movie, both kids could not stop talking about various parts of the movie that they enjoyed. I have read multiple reviews from other parents who did not have the same success with their children and I would recommend that each parent use their best judgement when deciding to take their children to see this movie. Some children may not be interested in this movie and have a difficult time sitting through the entire movie. As with most Disney Pixar movies, Wall-E has many underlying jokes and subltities that are intended for an older audience that children cannot appreciate. Our family loved this movie and we cannot wait until it is released on DVD...We're sure it will find a home under our Christmas tree this year :) I would highly recommend this movie to any adult and many children; however, parents know their children best and should decide if this movie is right for their child.
