Wall-E Review

Wall e would probably be my pick for movie of the year, not just animated movie of the year. Based in what might be viewed as a nihilistic future, one in which Earth is basically a toxic garbage dump and humans have fled to a cruise-ship styled space ship in which they barely need to lift a finger, the movie could have easily become dark and judgemental. However, with child-like fascination and a kind spirit, the little robot Wall e works to clean-up the planet and proceeds on a trek of discovery when he tries to protect his friend. The film has uplifting messages about humans' will to succeed despite adversity and that friendship and teamwork can achieve incredible feats.

I also definitely need to see it again because there are some computer jokes hidden throughout, which make the movie absolutely hilarious for adults. This is one movie that works on so many different levels that it is perfect for any audience!
