"Walk the Line" is a movie I placed on my must- see list when I first heard about it, long before the news hit the streets that it was about to be released. I found out about this movie through the Internet Movie Database one day in early 2005 when I was looking at some movie facts on the career of Joaquin...
Walk The Line. A movie about Johnny Cash. I knew of Johnny Cash before this movie and had heard some things of his but after watching this movie I became a Cash freak!! I love him so much now. Joaquin Phoenix is a great actor and does an amazing job being Johnny Cash. I really liked Reese Witherspoon in this movie also, this is very different for her being in this role and its just very unlike what she does and I liked that. I am not a Johnny Cash fan, but this movie was very interesting. I had heard things about Johnny Cash, but not nearly what was portrayed in this movie. It was both entertaining and insightful. I got a new impression/respect for Johnny and June. The acting was superb...Reese was unbelievable as June...and her singing/comedy was on the money. Joaquin WAS Johnny Cash.....the mannerisms, the singing and the attitude are all just like the times I had seen or heard or read about Johnny Cash.
