This was my first AHA product. After reading the rave reviews all over the internet I knew I had to try it. I have sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin with frequent breakouts and scarring. This product helped to reduce the frequency of my breakouts and while I haven't noticed significant changes in my scarring, it has noticeably brightened my face. My skin is whiter, brighter, and smoother after about 3 months of consistent use. I didn't notice any difference for the first month or so. I've since become a huge fan of AHA, though I have moved on to other AHA products (I could never get used to the smell and I wanted a higher concentration of AHA) but I would definitely recommend this for those looking for a cheap but effective product. Be patient and be consistent and you will see some kind of result. Effectiveness Definitely effective as a chemical exfoliater! Visibly whiter, smoother skin in about 3 months of consistent use. Scent The scent is really the only bad thing about this product. It smells like Elmer's glue. I could not get used to it.

This product is now replaced at walgreens as Studio Beauty 35 alpha hydroxy face cream 8% aha of 70% solution 4oz jar. I've reviewed the ingredients n they are identical just arranged in different order. Just started using it on my stretch marks from having my son a yr ago so let's see how it goes
