Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price Review

Although Wal Mart is a popular shopping place, I would really like to find something better. I live in the country, and Wal Mart is the closest store for me. If there were others I would not ever go to Wal Mart again. Wal Mart touts itself as being a place that helps you "live better" and "save money". All of the products that Wal Mart has are available at other stores. Wal Mart is NOT a great way to save money. In fact I have found products from other stores....dollar stores that are much lower in price than Wal Mart. For example I record many things in notebooks. I found a great notebook at the local dollar store for $2.00. Wal Mart sells the same notebook for $6.00. I bought a laptop computer at Radio Shack for $200.00 less than the same laptop that Wal Mart sells as "save money".  I bought a ten pound bag of potatoes at a local grocery store for $2.98. The same product at Wal Mart was  $5.98 Real savings from Wal Mart comes from their marked down items. Of course, the location of Wal Mart is the best for me and my one-stop shopping. I can pick up some things at grocery stores and dollar stores at a great saving compared to Wal Mart. And as for "living better", I don't find any grocery store that makes my life better. There are so many things in life that contribute to a better life. I don't depend on any store to make my life better. And as for the question......Is Wal Mart interested in me as a customer.....No, Wal Mart is only interested in my money!
