a bargain hunter, value conscious, noticing the details
I have a love/hate relationship with Walmart. I LOVE it because I save money every time I got there. Seriously, they are so much cheaper than everyone else. And not just on a few products either. EVERYTHING is less expensive. — I HATE them because the majority of their employees are just miserable. I usually go during the week, and they're always out there stocking shelves. They will NOT move for customers. In my opinion, customers should be allowed to go up & down the aisles and look at what they want/need to purchase. We are…

Wal-Mart doesn't have employees...they have "sales associates". So where's the help? I've received better sales help from a bag of rocks. It doesn't matter what department I'm in, or what the question is...the answer from the "sales associate" is always, "I DON'T KNOW." I don't go into a Wal-Mart unless I know exactly what I want & know where it's at. If I can buy it somewhere else...I WILL and DO. We (my son & I) wasted half an hour once waiting for a "sales associate" to find a key to unlock a sliding glass door. He (my son) wanted to get a…

I know I'm going to get attached for this review but I DON"T CARE! I'm going to be honest, I LOVE Wal-mart. I always have. I grew up in a house of seven kids (6 girls & 1 boy spread over 20 years). How in the world do yo think my mother paided for school clothes, supplies, and TP (just think about how much 9 people used the bathroom). And if there was such thing as a Super Wal-mart in our area back then I'm sure my mother would have danced a jig right in the middle of the parking lot. As it was, she went to 2-3 grocery stores in one day to buy…

Unless you enjoy buying cheap junk and supporting unethical business practices, do not shop at wal-mart. In addition, if you're political viewpoints skew left, avoid shopping at wal-mart because they contribute millions of dollars to conservative agendas. Whether you're looking for quality, or if supporting a fair business environment is important to you, wal mart is not the place to go. — If you love to buy cheap crap at the expense of small businesses and even small towns, then go for it. —…

mom of 2, Budget-Conscious, value conscious
I used to shop Wal-Mart on an extremely frequently basis, but have decided to ultimately ban going there altogether. The more that I hear about their business practices and research it, the more that I just cannot support a company that makes such unethical choices. The way they treat their employees, both in the U.S. and abroad, is probably the main reason why I can no longer support it with a good conscience. I agree with the other reviewer that Wal-Mart's practices are so bad that the only explanation is that it is owned by the devil. (not really, but you know what I mean).…

fairly conservative
I have completed many merchadising assignments at different Wal-Marts and it is true that you can find pretty much what you want at the super centers but heres what I have noticed in and around the Memphis Tennessee Area. CSM's and other management talk down to employees. It is does not surprise me that the turn over rate is high. Does Wal-Mart not teach good employee relations skills? They say customer service is # 1 and that is true, you keep the customer happy and they come back. Ok, with that said, I am thinking that if you treat your employees right and…
