Let me first say that I'm not some die-hard "Green" person.  I don't own a hybrid (too expensive).  I don't grow my own food or make compost (too time consuming).  I don't protest oil drilling (I like my car).  But I do try to do the little, everyday things.  We recycle.  Every light-bulb in our house are the "twisty" bulbs and our Christmas lights are all LED.  I try to buy produces that can be refilled/reused to reduce waste.  I'm trying to set the right example for my two boys.  That's why I always took back my plastic Wal-mart bags to be recycled.  That is, until about two months ago, when the recycling box mysteriously disappeared.  My house quickly began to fill with the bags and I cried Uncle...I bought the Green Bags, which, by the way, are actually black.

I was slightly skeptical, after all, canvas bags arn't cheap.  But when I saw that they were only $1 each, I bought 10!  Heck, at that price, if they break it's no big loss.  The real reason I bought ten was because they looked small (no bigger than the plastic ones) and I thought I would need a ton.  Boy was I wrong.  These bags are BIG...I got $150 worth of groceries in about 7 bags.

Plus they are really durable and great multi-taskers.  I travel a lot with my kids.  My parents live about 3 1/2 hours away and Rich's live 2 1/2.  When we go to visit them, I have to bring all kinds of stuff like sip cups and toys and these bags are perfect for the job.

My only issue with the bags is my own forgetfulness.  Trying to wrangle two boys, keys, and a shopping list is hard enough.  Throw in remembering to grab the bags and take them into the store and, well, half the time they don't make it.  Oh-well!  At least I try.

Yeah, these are great bags. We sell those at the Bi Lo. (you don't have those up there). 99 cents AND we give a 5 cent credit every time you use it. They hold a LOT, too. Nice job!
