My stepdaughter's birthday was coming up and I had no idea what to buy her. She's an adult, married with a child, so it isn't easy like it was when she was a kid to find gifts that are meaningful. Along with some other things, I bought her a Personalized Initial Tile Box from Wal-Mart. I liked it so much, I bought one for myself!

This box measures 5"Lx5"Wx3-1/2"H. It's small but cute. It is made of real wood and cherry finished. On the top is a white inset 4"x4" tile with green, blue, or burgundy accents and writing. The box is hinged for easy opening and no loss of the top. Inside is black felt lining and the bottom also has felt to protect surfaces.

The special part is that this can be personalized with up to nine letters. The middle has a large initial and the bottom of the tile has the name (or word) spelled out in block letters. The tile has a floral design and is very feminine. You must order the name and initial. These aren't off the shelf boxes. They make whatever name or word you want up to nine letters.

For under $20.00, this is an exceptional value. The box is adorable and quite high quality and the personalization is always special. I like the lining, the felt bottom, and the hinged top. It's small at just 5"x5" but it is perfect for small items or just as a decorative piece. I really like mine. I am a collector of unique boxes of all kinds and, while this isn't actually "unique", it's a cute, different box that is uniquely mine. My stepdaughter likes hers and keeps it out where people can see it in her family room. This is definitely a good gift for any woman or teen. Who doesn't like personalized things made just for them?
