I just started my second two-year contract with WOW and boy am I sorry. Our initial contract was for cable/internet. With our original contract I signed up for auto pay and was double billed. Luckily it did not cause any issues with low-balance fees or returned checks etc. I cancelled auto pay since I felt I could not trust the system. Fast forward to our new internet only 2-year contract. They offered $5/mo credit for signing up for auto pay so I thought hey, why not? After not being auto billed because they claim there was a problem with the account number provided (that had been used numerous times) I was charged $55 in late fees. They would only waive $30 so from my perspective I was scammed $25 for their systems not working correctly. Just beware and monitor payments closely. I will be changing to another provider when this term is up; I just can't do business with a company I can't trust.

Terrible wait time for service

I have had to call WOW Cable about 6 times in the last 2'months for cable service problems and have been put on hold for at least 30 minutes each time, only to be connected to a person that was hard to understand since they seemed to be foreign and had trouble with communication. I was given a price guarantee twice that was supposed to be for a year, only to have the price increase after a few months. I have been with this company for at least 14 years and the last two have not been good. They will lower the price original price increase after I call them, but it's still a bit higher. I have three options of service providers, and I think it may be time to change

I am a long time customer ( 10 years), that they convinced to sign up for Ulta-TV. for a certain rate. Bill comes and it's higher. Tried customer service, promised phone calls never came. Finally they said your stuck, higher rates for a year. Do not use this service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just tried to upgrade my Internet service to one of the faster advertised speeds. The WOW representative informed me that as a current wow customer I could not upgrade to the faster speeds. Only for new customers. Seems like WOW doesnot want to retain current customers with this business plan. I have been a loyal WoW customer for over 10 years. If you are looking for an internet provider you might want to look at others. Terrible way to run a business.

This is the most horrible service ...switched to WOW in January, 2017...we should have known from the day of installation what we were going to experience with this company when the installer was 8 hours past our time window...we were told the installation fee would be waived to compensate for our inconvenience...NEVER HAPPENED...since the beginning we have experienced nothing with issues....always getting the same rhetoric...we apologize working on upgrades...you should no longer have problems...well today after losing Internet & cable on a daily basis for a week...called to inquire about cancelling only to be told that we have 7 more months on contract & would be charged an early termination fee...inquired as to what that fee would be...was told by CS that he could not tell me the fee until I cancelled...when I asked why I would even be charged any sort of fee as my reason for terminating was because the service is not what we were promised he very pompously said that is just WOW'S policy....

Their customer service is terrible and the prices aren't great either. They get away with it because they're the only game in town. The "it's that kind of experience" tagline should have a picture of a colonoscopy next to it.

I have cable and internet services with this company as we speak. They customer service is awful. Most of their Techs are unprofessional and shouldn't have a job. My cable was working fine finally for a month and then a tech was in the alley taking the cover off t he cable tower. He just dropped it back on there like he did not care if it messed up our services in the building and left. Now they want to tell me i have to stay in my house until the emergency tech comes out to fix it. It can take up until 9pm before someone comes out. I have been needing them to come out since October when i received their services. Please do not waste your money on them. I would deal with any other company then them and I am paying a hundred dollars a month for poor service!!!!!!!

I have had WOW in then past and loved them. However, this last year, if my bill is 24 hours late, I cannot rent even a $4 movie! I get paid twice a month. I've never not paid my bill. I actually paid it one day and was still told that I couldn't rent a 2 year old move for $4. Just no comparison to bigger companies with comparable services who 1) Don't make you put up with constant outages but refuse to allow a $4 movie if you are a few days late 2) Have a system that can actually register a payment within 72 hours (and don't punish you for their technological shortcomings) and 3) Allow you to talk to someone within an hour who can give you a straight answer. An hour I waited to hear that they couldn't see my online payment and couldn't allow me $4 in credit until they could view something with their antiquated system. Yuck! Cancelled and got AT&T back before they could even see my payment online! I was most likely watching my movie before they even wrote a letter to customer service and mailed it with their forever stamps from 1985. DON'T USE THEM!
