If you are wanting a small heater to use in the office, a small room or where your heart desires. This is easy to use and does not blow the breaker every time you turn around! You can adjust the heat and fan settings! My office actually does not permit personal heaters and I am using this for the second year in a row and no one even notices I have a heater , except I am as warm as could be! Performance Quiet and does not blow the breaker like my other brand did! Durability I have it under my desk and put my feet on it and you cannot tell! Design I love the heat for the winter and the fan for the summer! Dual purpose! Safety Wonderful, you cannot touch any hot parts or the fan blades.

We bought this Vornado and love it.  We use it in any room that we are in from the office,  to the den , bedroom, etc.  We take it with us when we visit people to be warm and cozy.  We have had Vornado's for years and this one is the best design, much better than the digital.  This is the 5th one that we own and when family visit, they all get one in the room !!  .

**This is one of the best things I have ever bought!** I am a person who is cold all the time and, rather than turn up my home's heating system, I rely on Vornado's AVTH (older model) to keep me - safely - warm ...and **this thing is amazing**. I would say it is quite compact and light; picking it up/carrying it is like picking up a little bambino - and I almost feel I could just hug this thing 'cause yes I really love it THAT much. It has kept me warm at times in my life when I otherwise would have been freezing (and it really moves the air and warms the room - the WHOLE room - fast, especially if I temporarily turn it up), it is hassle-FREE, and has given me years of trusty service. Most importantly, this unit has the safety features that are essential - it will automatically turn off if it is tipped over (and it has a chubby little shape that makes that less likely of happening) OR is about to overheat. (It can also handle running for longer than is advisable - so I'm not advising that and please, as they say, "Don't try this at home!" - and it has not, thus far, caused any events, nor does it get hot to the touch, very important if you have children around). What makes this heater stand out, for me, though, is the technology universal to all Vornado products : it circulates the whole room's air/warms the whole room - without the need for oscillation (which can increase the space you need cleared for a unit's movement, and can just plain be cumbersome) and fast! It also has **more than adequate** controls, including separate adjustments for whether you want the fan on continuously or auto, whether you want the strength of the heat at low or high, and a dream-to-use thermostat knob for setting what temperature you want to make the area (well-enough labeled in incriments of 5 degrees [70,75,etc.] with markers halfway between those temps too, and the knob adjusts smoothly [without being overly sensitive], you can easily back it off or bump it up just a hair to get the temperature just right! There is also a "fan only feature" which will let you use this without heat, meaning if you don't have space you might be able to do without a separate fan for those times when you would normally need one. And lastly, the unit has an on/off switch that lets you turn it off while leaving the temperature setting at your comfortable level, and (the switch) glows so that you can tell at a glance when the unit is on or off.  Yes, it would be nice to have perks like digital controls and a remote for times like when I am in bed and too tired to get up to turn on/off or adjust it, but for what I paid ...for how well this works, how simple and hassle-FREE it is, and how long it has served me, I can't wish for more. (Almost... the only feature I might wish for, for safety reasons, is a timer that would be handy in case I wanted to make sure it shut off after a certain amount of hours running). ...I also have an air purifier from Vornado and, wow, does that thing move air, and make the air in my room feel better. I love and would highly recommend the AVTH and ANY Vorado product!
