The Vornado DVH Digital Vortex Space Heater (EH1-0028-06)
Vornado is typically a company I would turn to for cooling fans, but they have created several great products in the department of space heaters, and this Vortex Space Heater is one of those gems. This is a light-weight space heater designed to heat up small areas or rooms, and which takes very little effort to move around or get working. The Vornado space heater's biggest selling point is that it is portable and easily movable, so that you can have it in one area, and when you are finished using it, you can either store it or move it to another room in the home. It is also a great heater to use in the office if you want something under your desk, and it does work with ultra quiet settings that allow you to work or go about your day without worrying about extra noises filling the air.
Features of the Vornado DVH Vortex Heater
The first main feature of this Vornado Heater is that it is portable, meaning you can put it anywhere in your house. It does so while providing a free flow of hot air through its convex grill that heats up the room, but remains cool to the touch. This protects users from potentially getting burned, and also helps it it is being used around kids. There are three settings on the digital screen that allow it to be set to low, medium, or high heating levels, and it does all of this with a very quiet presentation that keeps it from interfering with anything else going on around it. The digital screen allows temperature control to set it to a specific setting if so wishes, and it has an easy to use power button right on the top of the unit. There is also the added feature that if the heater is tipped over, that it will turn off immediately, thus raising the safety level for this particular device. It is electric powered, so it only needs to be plugged in to an outlet, and it will be up and running.
Use of the Vornado Vortex Space Heater
Use of this Vornado space heater is quite simple, with the digital screen and associated buttons being quite easy to deduce and put in to practice. Setting it up in a nice area, they recommend that it is used for rooms that are 12 by 12 or smaller, and it does a great job at heating up areas within that parameter. The sound of the fan keeps it quiet enough that you can talk on the phone near the heater, and still not be too distracted by it, and the thermometer on the digital display helps the user to regulate temperatures in the room. It's really easy to use, and the safe operation that it provides means that you can have it in the same room as pets or kids and not have to worry about anyone getting burned by it. This is a fan though, so you probably want to keep the littlest kids away from it just in case they have fingers small enough to fit through the grill on the front.
ViewPoint of this Vornado Portable Heater
There are really only positive things to say about the Vornado DVH Digital Vortex Space Heater, as it is about as easy as a product like this can be. With the digital screen everything is right at your fingertips, and having the added advantage of being a heater that doesn't heat up its external parts, you don't have to worry about burning yourself if you store it under your work desk. The heater works great for bed rooms, has adjustable settings to control how much wattage is used, and really does a great job at being a durable and reliable product. The Vornado comes with a 1 year warranty, and several stores have been selling this model for under $100.00 in recent months. It is well worth purchasing if you are looking for a great portable space heater, and this Vornado product lives up to its name as a great product to own.
