In college, living in a dorm room with everyone in close quarters you must have a fan with you, or it gets hot really quickly in a small room. My freshman year I forgot my fan back at home and I had to splurge and get a fan at the school store. I saw the Vornado table fan, and because it was on sale for 13 bucks, I decided to get it. This is the best investment in college. During the warm months it kept the air moving and kept us all cool. Even though it looks a little on the small size it is incredibly powerful for its size. My roommate and I both had the same one and we both had the same one. I completely recommend it to friends and family and I definitely would recommend it for incoming college students.

I have had many fans over the years. I can't sleep without fans. But since I've talked about that in another review, let's just get to it. The tornado 530B.an excellent tabletop fan that honestly blows just as hard just as fast and just as good as its bigger brothers. The fan itself is relatively lightweight and it is built to last. It is made of a very big very sturdy plastic. It is also aesthetically pleasing. It's a good-looking fan that gets lots of compliments. the fan itself has three speeds which are easily adjustable via a knob. So depending on your comfort level or really, how much you want the fan to blow in your face, you can set it to your preference.it's expensive for a desk fan, but trust me. If you need one, this tornado, I mean vornado is the way to go.

for those days when its really hot but its too much money to turn on the air conditioning for the whole house, this is perfect. i'm always at my desk working on something or on my laptop and it gets way too hot. i was at the store and i was in need of a table fan that was powerful enough to keep me cool withoutt it being overpowerful. this is a good fan because its not that expensive and it does its job as a table fan. this fan fits its name "vornado" perfectly because its so strong. although, this fan doesnt oscillate and it can be quite loud but thats okay for me but it might be a no no for other people. this is a good stationary fan good for exercising on treadmills or as a desk fan. i would recommend this.

It's small and compact and great for use for a small space or as a personal fan, but don't expect to cool down an entire room if that room is big and it's really hot outside. We have one of these and I use this all the time during the summer when I'm sitting around being lazy watching TV and playing on the computer. It's definitely pretty powerful though for the size of the fan. In face, it's much stronger than any other fan I've seen this size. If you want, you can leave it at a lower setting, it makes things quieter and still works pretty nicely. At a higher setting you can hear the fan a lot more. For the price and size of this thing I'd say it's very much worth it as it's probably just as strong as many bigger fans you find for cheap.

This fan is great for me at my house. Not everyone in the house gets hot at the same time so now i cool myself off without bothering anyone else. Its small so i can use it sitting at the computer or running on the tredmill. It puts out alot of air and really helps cool me down during my hot moments. my stepmom uses it too because she is going through menopause and its great during her hotflashes! the only thing i dont like is it doesnt oscilate so its constant air on you with no break. It isn't as quiet as some fans i've used but i think the quality and amount of air it blows out makes it worth it. I love this fan and it was a great buy. i would recommend it for anyone. its great for those moments when your just hot and not the whole house

We were looking for a table fan for our basement where we spend most of our evenings in summer playing table tennis, watching movies and so on. We purchased the vornado fan because of the brand popularity. The fan looks small but it does really a good job,not to be deceived by its size. It circulates the air well but not to a wide range. It is mostly suitable for cooling or circulating air for a limited space and it does not circulate air to the extreme corners. I mean the angle of circulation is not very wide. But still it does quality job at least to the areas it covers. For the price we paid for this fan, we must admit that it is one of the best choices we made. Other brand fans were very pricey compared to this model but even though they perform better than this fan, I dont think it would be worth paying that much more.

I bought this on sale at J&R, and I like it a lot. It produces a lot of air from such a unit which I use to blow towards me when I'm running on the treadmill. It is loud though and the unit does not oscillate which can be a bummer. In my opinion (maybe because my house is so hot), but this cannot fill a small room and make you feel cool. However, when the fan is pointed towards you, it feels cooler but you feel bad for the other people in the room. I thought the technology consisted of air bouncing all over the walls to cover the room, but in my case, this did not work that way. This fan is more powerful than the generic brands like Honeywell, so I do recommend the Vornado over those. It produces more air and is a lot cheaper than the fan produced by Dyson. While the fan looks great and you can feel a breeze, it is not as powerful as the Vornado and it's a lot more expensive. This is perfect if you're alone in the room or you want to use this when you're exercising (e.g. treadmill, elliptical, P90x, etc).

For being so small, the Vornado Table Fan really does an outstanding job of getting air moving. We have used this fan in bedrooms, in our living room, and in hotel rooms, and have always been able to feel a difference in air movement. The low setting provides nice white-noise at night without being too loud, and the high setting really helps cool down a room in warm weather, or circulate heat during cold weather. Though quite a bit more expensive than other small fans, you can really feel a difference in quality with this fan. You can move the fan around and adjust it to fit the needs of the room you are using it in. It is also small enough that it is easily portable, we have even taken it on out of town trips. If you are in need of a small fan that can provide a big punch, then this is the fan for you. Also, keep an eye out for sales, or coupons, and you can make this purchase even more affordable.

This fan is pretty amazing. I've always been impressed with the Vornado brand and this fan delivers. It is very small but still will circulate air pretty well in a good sized room. We use it in our game room and it works well. We use it in the summer to blow cooler air from the windows and in the winter to blow warmer air from a wall heater. The room isn't insulated very well so the Vornado helps circulate air. It is a really good looking fan as well. It looks modern and nice in a room. I have family that have a bigger vornado fan and they love it too. It does a good job keeping their house cooler in the summer since they don't have air conditioning. I think that Vornado is a really great brand for fans and I would recommend it to anyone. I prefer this brand for the value compared to other brands like the new Dyson which is just way too expensive. This fan works and looks nice too. Get one today!
