Vonage — 

Upon calling Vonage to sign up for their service which also meant ordering their modem, Vonage took my order promptly.

After setting up the extra modem and not being able to have it connect to my laptop, I called for service. They could not help me, but suggested I have a Vonage rep come out for a hefty price. I instead opted to simply return the device the next day and get my $88 refund. It cost $44 to sign up and another $44 charge to cancel which would be refunded to me after they receive their modem back.

Over a month has passed and I still haven't received the refund. My 4th call to customer service was placed where they finally put in writing as I've been requesting that I will be receiving the $88 refund. Each call to customer service has held me hostage to the phone since after they find out the call is related to cancelled service and a refund, you are no longer a priority.

I simply would not recommend this service at this point in its existence. They have a lot of work to do and lawsuits to satisfy before they're ready for customers, especially customers with laptops.
