When I first got Vonage, everything was gravy. Then all of a sudden, my internet would stop working. Your internet has to be working in order for your phone to work. With neither one of them working, there was no way of contacting Vonage. So I called to cancel. They charged me $128.00 without telling me they were gonna charge me for cancelling. But the good news is that my internet has had no problems since cancelling with Vonage. Vonage has great prices, but you get what you pay for.

I agree with this reviewer, I had Vonage for about one year until I moved and tried cancelling. The customer service representative informed me that I was breaching a 2 year agreement and would be charged over 100$ to cancel. I cancelled anyway because I was moving and had not been happy by my service. My internet was going down inexplicably nearly every week, I had frequent dropped calls, and the sound quality was poor - particularly in terms of how well people could hear me on the phone. Also, now that I do not have Vonage, my internet service has not had any trouble and Comcast is no longer coming to my house every week to look at it.
