The jetta is a very nice car, i had one for about 3 years and still love it. It drives smoothly and hardly had any mechanical problems. The millege is good too. If anything were to happen to the one i had right now, i would probably buy a new jetta. I recommend this car if you were to buy a car for the first time, new or used, but depending on how used.
