Bought a 42" Refurb Vizio LCD HDTV from Tigerdirect.com and couldn't be happier. The Picture is excellent! It has an auto DPI setting so I get the best Picture possible at all times. I have my HD Tivo and my HD DVD player hooked up to this TV along with my stero and I am just amazed at the quality. It has 4 HDMI hookups as well as hook ups for your stero and other components. I've had this TV now for about 6 months and have not had one problem. Thanks Vizio for a quality product!!

THE VIZIO 42 INCH 1080 IS THE BIGGEST PILE OF CRAP. ON MY SECOND TV THAT VIZIO SENT ME AND IT DOES THE SAME THING BUT WORSE. IT GETS LINES GOING HORI. AND VERT. IT SEEMS TO START WHEN THE, HELL I DONT KNOW WHEN IT STARTS BUT I KNOW IT SUCKS SO BE CAREFUL OF THIS PURCHASE AND IF YOU DO BUY THE TWO YR EXT WARR. WITH IT

The Vizio 42 inch LCD, although very inexpensive, is a great television and I highly recommend it. The fact that it is an American company is another plus with today's economy. I would compare it to several other brands costing several hundred dollars more, but of equal or greater quality. We are now in the market for a second unit for our kids room. Costco has a nice selection of Vizios to choose from and they have knowledgeable sales staff to help. The only thing is that I wish they had a 52 inch LCD offering.
The Vizio - VW42L HDTV Television was a great deal. I had looked around at different brands and models and this was the best for my family and I. I have referred this tv to a few friends and would refer it again. I'm very happy with everything about it. It was simple to set up and has numerous inputs for different sources. I love plugging in my computer while using photoshop. You can really see excellent detail.
After research various flat screen televisions, my husband and I chose the Vizio -VW42L HDTV for our den area. It is the perfect fit into our wall unit as we chose not to wall mount. Picture is beautiful and even better with our blue-ray.
The remote is not as user friendly as my husband would like, because he has to hunt for everything he is looking for but he's also used to using the satelite remote.
all in all, I think this is a great television
I am reviewing the 42" HDTV by Visio, I looked long and hard at many HDTV's and after searching all over I feel the Visio has one of the clearest pictures and the best price overall. It was simple to set up and has all the plug ins for anything you need to do. I am very pleased with this TV
