I bought the Vizio VBR100 because my son wanted a player of his own in his room.I eventually relented to buy him one.I went out and bought him a cheap one being as I thought him rather young for a expensive one and I wanted something cheap because hes a boy after all and prone to breaking things.Once I got home and unpackaged this piece of junk they had a rather large advertisment on the top of the player.This advertisment was glued to the top of the player.I was working for over an hour trying to get all the glue off the top of the player.I left several scratches on this thing trying to get the glue off.Once the player was glue free we hooked it up in my sons room and he put a movie in and about an hour later the player froze up.We tried everything to get it going again and nothing worked.The next day my son used it again with no problems.The third time he used it it froze up again.I finally got tired of this thing and returned it to the store for a better different brand.I read some reviews on the site were I bought this and it seems alot of people agree this is junk. I wish I had read the reviews for this before I had bought it.

We just recently purchase our first-ever Vizio BluRay player after dealing with DVD players that either stopped working or became picky with the DVDs that we put in them. So far I have been very happy with the Vizio BluRay player because it has buttons that you just touch like a touch screen and it has amazing picture quality. I even noticed a difference with the DVDs we put in the BluRay player, the picture quality is awesome! The only thing I did notice was that the BluRay player doesn't remember where you left off with a movie so you have to go through the BluRay disk chapter by chapter to find your place. However, all in all, I am very happy with this player so far and it has worked wonderfully. I love the touch screen buttons, the picture quality, and the sleek appearance of this player. I also like the other features it has like being able to connect to the internet though our internet service stinks so we aren't able to use that feature, but sometime in the near future we will, so I will just have to wait. For those who are on the fence about buying a BluRay player, I say (after having ours for about a month), what are you waiting for? I recommend the Vizio BluRay player!

I bought this blu ray player in a bundle along witht he 55" TV and soundbar from Dell. I could not be more happier with this DVD player. It plays regular DVDs and Blu Ray discs with no complaints at all. Some other reviews from other sites complain that this is a loud player when loading discs, I don't think so at all, I can barely hear it when it is loading. It has no buttons that stick out on it, they are located on the front of the player and they are touch sensitive but a smooth finish. The player itself is very sleek and looks really good along with the other componets next to it. The only thing is the USB port is in the back of it for Blu Ray live, but this is not a problem for me, since I just keep a 2gb USB thumb drive in it all times and don't take it out, so that is not a problem, but I guess if you put it in and take it out a lot, it could be a pain, but like I said, I don't so the location of it doesn't bother me at all. For the price, you cannot beat this player. If you want to step up to the Blu Ray era but don't want to spend a lot of money and want to get a quality product, give this a look before you buy.
